  This was my go to Kroger store when I lived downtown. This was before the new fancy Newport Kroger opened. I was sad when they closed it to remodel it after the fancy Kroger opened. I've only been back a couple times since the remodel. It's not all that different. The aisles are still pretty narrow. My only complaint about the store is lack of selection compared to other Kroger stores of the same size. It seems they are catering to a lower income market which I don't totally agree with. But I am sure they understand their market better than I do.

  The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I like that it's not such a big store that you spend a long time trying to find stuff. Lots of good deals.

  Small, easy to find what your looking for. Doesn't carry some items I'd like. For example red barons flour and also seed and nut cliff bars.
